What wireless protocol does Ecovent use?

Ecovent vents and sensors communicate through a custom low powered protocol on 915 MHz. The design is both very low power and low bandwidth, which means the vents and sensors get great range and use very little power to do so. This allows the vents to get between 3-5 years of battery life.
