If you have decided that a vent or sensor (or both) would be better served if installed another room, Ecovent gives you the flexibility to pair them elsewhere. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the device(s) from its currently assigned room
- Open Ecovent App menu
- Open System Settings
- Open Add Room option to go into Room Setup page
- Tap the room icon that the device is currently assigned to
- Under "Devices" section, disconnect the intended device(s) (*note: Device ID can be found on label attached to device; see photo attachment)
- Finish Room Setup and exit out of page
2. Add device to new intended room
- Open the setup page of the room you want to install the device(s)
- Under "Devices" section, press the "Add Sensor" or "Add Vent" depending on which device you are trying to add to the room
- The app will walk you through the normal pairing process
- Finish Room Setup
3. Complete
- On the Room Setup page, tap "Done With Room Setup" button
- Choose "Start Ecovent" option
