Around San Francisco, the garage is a mythical place. It’s a place of experimentation, invention, and ingenuity. In fact, in Steve Jobs’ hometown, they want to designate his old carport as a place of “historical significance.” It wouldn’t be an overstatement.
We’ve spent our fair share of time in the garage, inventing new and awesome things. That’s why we’re excited to join a bunch of other makers at the Garage@Connect at GigaOm’s upcoming internet of things, home automation, and smart buildings conference, Structure Connect.
We also got some more good news last week. We’re winners in the Sustainable Technologies category of the Create the Future contest, hosted by NASA Tech Briefs. Thanks to all who voted!
We’re excited to accept that award next month in New York. In the meantime, we’ll be at the Mission Bay Conference Center on October 21-22 for GigaOm’s shindig, along with many other cool companies. Hope you’ll stop by. Drop us a note to meet us there.
