It’s an honor just to be nominated (but we won!)

CES 2015 is done and dusted and the exodus of nerds and geeks from Las Vegas is complete. Sin City can return to its regularly scheduled programming: gambling and drive-thru weddings. Ecovent was thrilled about having the chance to participate and showcase our system of smart vents and sensors. You can read about some our adventures here and here. We also walked away with some exciting awards at CES - the Mark of Excellence Award for Automation Device of the Year and a Twice Picks Award!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ecovent was the recipient of the Mark of Excellence Award for Automation Device of the Year at CES 2015. The Mark of Excellence Awards recognize the best in custom integration and installed technology and is presented by TechHome, a division of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the producer of CES. The Mark of Excellence Awards are also produced in partnership with CEPro, the leading trade publication for professionals involved in the custom electronics business. Winners are judged by independent experts within the industry.

For Automation Device of the Year, we beat out some big players like Control4, Crestron and Honeywell. We were in the company of some other big names for other product categories, including, Sony, LG, Lutron, Bosch and Definitive Technology.

Dipul Patel, our CEO, had these words to share, “we are thrilled to be named as the Automation Device of the Year by the Consumer Electronics Association.” “To have the industry authority in consumer electronics recognize our product, and the technology and design that goes into it, is particularly gratifying because there is no other organization that has the deep knowledge and insight on the best products and services for the home and ultimately, the consumer.”

We’re also proud to be one of three finalists for the Energy Efficiency Product of the Year and one of four finalists for the Disruptor Award. We can’t wait to get our disruption on and help our customers save massive amounts of energy in August to prove that we were robbed!

We’re also jazzed about receiving a TWICE Picks Award. The Twice Picks Awards celebrate tech products that demonstrate the greatest innovation, and potential at retail, chosen by the one of the industry’s most trusted brands, TWICE magazine. The award is chosen by TWICE editors after scouring the floor of exhibitors at CES 2015. We’re particularly gratified for receiving a Twice Picks Award given the nearly 4,000 exhibitors at CES 2015! Other recipients of a Twice Picks Award include Samsung, Sony, LG, Whirlpool, Sharp, Sennheiser, Lenovo, JBL and Definitive Technology.
